Indigenous Women Wellness - "My first Steps to Creating a Wider Support Circle" My name is Katherine Cooper, Kahwahteeket Muskwa Iskwew, and I am an advocate and I strongly believe in our indigenous ways of knowing and healing . We are going to look at a powerful practice called a talking circle. In our fast-paced world, genuinely connecting can be tough. By the end of this presentation, you will know exactly how to use a talking circle to break down walls, spark meaningful conversations, and build lasting new relationships." ALL BODIES COMMUNITY RECREATION AND FITNESS We are an inclusive, choice - based, community, health and wellness program Welcoming every body the w orkouts are easy to follow, scalable and designed to help you develop confidence and a foundation for health, fitness, or performance. We teach skills and movements transferable to the "gym" and other activities. Our Learn to Play Sports are for folks wanting to return to or try a sport for the first time. To participate, use an ABC Drop in. an ABC 10 pass usages card or purchase an ABC Flexi pass which includes access to all the ABC group activities and the Vancouver Park Board's pools, ice rinks and fitness centres.
