Archaeology Camp

About this program

Join us at salishan Place by the river for an exciting archaeology camp designed especially for young explorers! Kids will embark on a journey through time by exploring the rich heritage of local First Nations, learning excavation techniques, and handling different kids of artifacts. With hands-on activities and interactive presentations, this camp promises to ignite curiosity and foster a love for history! If your child requires 1:1 support at school, the same level of support is required to participate in this part-day camp. Support workers are to be acquired by the family and require a Police Information Check to be completed a minimum of two weeks prior to the first day of your child attending the part-day camp. Please email rec@tol.ca for more information. If less than 5 days notice is given, registration fees, less a 20% cancellation fee, will be refunded.
