Audition Prep and Performance Dance Class

About this program

Students will be trained in dance fundamentals and refine their technique essential to be prepared for performance and auditions for team teams. Students with aspirations will be encouraged to MC at our performances and work on their public speaking skills. We will be working on hip hop, street dance and jazz funk dance skills, choreography and formation, strength development, footwork, isolations, stretches and everything related to get you stage ready! Step outside your comfort zone this season and rise to a new challenge. As live and video interviews for educational programs become a norm, it is beneficial for students to become more comfortable with public presentation of themselves now--- and what better way to hone in on this skill than to exercise and have fun?! Previous dance experience recommended. Performance opportunities will be announced during the season. Dress: shoes with non-marking soles & comfortable sports clothing. Bring your water bottle!
