Try your hand at the art of Ayacuchan embroidery in this beginner-friendly workshop with artist Valeria Valdeiglesias. This is a traditional technique that comes from Ayacucho, a city located in the highlands of Peru. It uses bright and colourful wool or thread in mostly floral designs, and it is easy to learn. During this workshop, we will learn some traditional stitches and put them into practice to create a beautiful flower patch. Additional materials like hoops can be purchased from the instructor. The workshop includes the patch fabric, the needles and the threads. Refund requests must be made 7 days before the workshop.
