About this program

This course is part of the Shadbolt's long-term progressive training program. Ballet classes focus on dynamic alignment and technique to develop full-body integration. There is an added focus on phrasing and musicality to develop expression in performance. Classes are taught in a self disciplined yet supportive environment. Please note this class takes place on Saturdays all other dates listed are rehearsal and performance dates subject to change. Fee includes cost of accompanist, and extra fees for performance ($17.00) and costume ($30.00). Instructor: Sarah Badley Please pick up a long-term dance handbook at the front office for more information and dress code requirements. Payment plan option (via credit card payments) available: 50% of payment due at time of registration, 25% due on Dec 15, and 2 payment 25% due on Mar 15, 2026. “To give long-term arts students ample time to determine if a long-term program is right for them, students can attend 4 classes before a year long commitment is required. If you withdraw during this period, you will be charged only for each class you attend without being charged the City of Burnaby refund fee of 10%. Withdrawals/refunds are NOT permitted after the start of the 5th class of a long-term program.”
