Bowen All Wheels Park Kick Off: Skate & Celebrate

About this program

A day for the community to gather, roll together, and celebrate the start of the new approved All Wheels Park project on Bowen. Join us Sunday for an end-of-summer celebration with a BBQ, music, skating, and good times on wheels. Bring your helmet, skateboard, scooter, BMX, or any wheeled gear and spend the day riding ramps and obstacles with friends and neighbours. Come chat with the Bowen All Wheels Society (BAWS) about the new All Wheels Park Project, what you’d like to see for our youth, and how you can get involved to bring the new All Wheels Park to life. On wheels or off, everyone is welcome. Come roll, celebrate, and help kick off the next chapter for wheeled sports on Bowen! A community event hosted in partnership with the Bowen All Wheels Society (BAWS). Event Highlights: Ramps, rails and obstacles Skateboards available for use Craft table for skate-themed activities Family-friendly environment Helmets required! When and Where: Saturday, September 26 12:00 - 2:00PM Lower Parking Lot @ The Bowen Island Community Center Come out to ride the ramps, meet fellow skaters and boarders, and enjoy a day with the community.
