About this program

Start to become a lifeguard with this course that includes instruction in lifesaving skills, water rescues and first aid. Requires 100% completion of all skill items including, but not limited to: swim 25m each of front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, head up front crawl, head up breaststroke, whip kick, eggbeater and scissor kick; swim 400m in 12 minutes or less; perform three different rescues; and perform adult, child and infant CPR on a mannequin. Manual and personal pocket mask included. Pre-requisites: 13 years old OR Bronze Star and able to swim a minimum of 100 meters of front crawl, back crawl and breast stroke.
