About this program

Handbuild a ceramic vessel suitable for fermenting foods in the home kitchen. Create a pot with coiling techniques and learn how to make an air-lock rim and lid. Pot will be food-safe. Class offers instruction on the creation of a single functional pot per participant and does not include instructions or advice about the process of fermenting foods. Each participant makes 1 dish. Clay, tools, glaze and firing included. No external clay permitted. Pre-requisite: Intermediate handbuilding experience. Workshop withdrawal policy applies.
