Celebrate your child's birthday the Discovery Centre! Choose one of our birthday party options from the list below. If your desired date/time is not available, please email discoverycentrebookings@delta.ca or call 604-952-3838. Each party includes a 1 hour of facilitated activities and 1 hour of non facilitated time for gifts, cake and refreshments, and exploration. Nature Explorers - ages 2-4 - Nature loving kids will love this hands-on party where we explore nature in Delta. We'll meet some (plastic) creepy crawlies, decorate a planter and plant seeds to take home as well as shaking our sillies out to nature themed songs. Please note - all children must be accompanied by an adult. Rainbow Movers - ages 2-4 - A bright and joyful colour themed party where preschoolers explore the rainbow through movement, music, art activities, and play. Please note - all children must be accompanied by an adult for this party. Party Animals - ages 6-8 - An estuary animal themed party for animal lovers. Activities include a bird scavenger hunt, nest making and a demonstration of how a Delta is made. Pastel Party - ages 6-12 - An art themed party for your art loving child. Go on a colour hunt through the gallery and get creative in the classroom using pastels to create amazing artwork. Aye Aye Captain - ages 9-12 - A nautical themed party with treasure hunt through the gallery and paper boat racing. Museum Heist Escape Room - ages 12-14 - A thief has stolen one of the Discovery Centre's prized artefacts! Can you and your group save it before it's lost forever? Come and recover our missing artefact by deciphering the hidden clues and puzzles around the gallery. Refund Policy: One week’s notice for full refund must be provided. If less than one week’s notice is given, 50% of the fee will be refunded. If notice is given on or after the start date of the program, no refund will be provided.
