Understanding the elements of design is essential for art creation and interpretation whether simple pattern or complex works of art. This course focuses on colour and composition and how they combine to create a visual effect. Explore design theory and exercises that help expand ideas, delving into processes, materials and products which can be transferred to any media. Students will create hand-made sample books to keep their exercises for further development, learning and inspiration. $15 material fee applicable.
