About this program
Registration is only in-person at Hastings Community Centre. To secure your spot(s), please bring all completed paperwork to the front desk. Reminder: one child per form. Please Note: Annual athletes are only able to register for one day per week. If your athlete would like to train on a second day, they will need to try to register for our seasonal program. • Annual athletes will be in the same class and have the same schedule as seasonal athletes. • Annual athletes will automatically be registered for the Fall, Winter and Spring Session. • The Annual Program does not include Summer Camps. • Dates for all terms will be confirmed and communicated as pool time is confirmed. Tentative Schedule: Fall: September – December Winter: Jan – late February/early March (depending on annual TPP closure) Spring: April - June • Payment for the last month’s fees(June) will be due at the time of registration each July. The Oct - May fees will be set up as a monthly preauthorized auto payment plan. Auto charge to credit card. Adventure Tri (Pre-K – Grade 1)Choose from classes on Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons and/or Saturday mornings. A fun, movement-based group where energetic youngsters will learn fundamental movement skills in swimming, cycling, and running. • Learn physical literacy through games, activities, and cooperative challenges. • Focus on caring for others, developing basic respect and the spirit of sport. • All of our classes include swimming, cycling, and running. • All athletes are required to be able to swim for 5 meters (able to go underwater, blow bubbles, swim a little bit). • There are no restrictions on biking or running. Exceleration Triathlon and Multisport Club Exceleration is a youth-focused triathlon club. Participants are taught to improve their swimming, biking, and running skills. In our Adventure Tri and Kids of Steel programs, the initial focus is on the development of fundamental sport and movement skills, which provide a basis for lifelong participation in sports. Exceleration’s programs emphasize respect for others and oneself, the inclusion of others, generosity, gratitude, the spirit of sport, and healthy competition. Many of our older participants compete locally and regionally in triathlons. Our program is based out of Templeton Park Pool.We offer programs for all ages: • Adventure Tri (Pre-K, K, Grade 1) • Kids of Steel (Grades 2-5) • Friends and Fitness (Special Program — Grades 6-12) • Youth of Steel (Grades 6-7)• Youth (Grades 8-10) • Senior (Grades 11-12+)• Adult Swimming and Running (Ages 16+) Free Exceleration Memberships are required to participate.You must register for a free membership with Exceleration at excelerationtriclub.ca in order to receive group information, email updates, equipment lists, and start-up information.Due to the overwhelming response and registration to this program, athletes who fail to sign up for this required Free Membership with-in one week of their registration date will be automatically withdrawn and refunded from this program. We can not guarantee that you will be contacted or reminded. This is part of the registration process. How to register Step 1: Register in person only at Hastings Community Centre. Authorization to auto charge credit card monthly form must be handed in at time of registration. Step 2: Sign up for your required FREE Membership to Exceleration Triathlon and Multisport Club at excelerationtriclub.caregistrtion**Note all previous Exceleration Memberships expired in August, so EVERYONE will require a new updated one. Step 3: Get ready to swim, bike, run and have fun!
