About this program

Looking to earn volunteer hours, build valuable work experience, and make a difference in your community? This hands-on volunteer program focuses on supporting day-to-day projects and completing meaningful tasks that help our programs and events run smoothly, rather than leadership or event planning. Volunteers tasks may include creating promotional materials, distributing them in the community, decorating the centre, assisting with special events and kitchen programs, running the Saturday concession, organizing supplies, and participating in community clean-ups. It’s a great opportunity to develop practical skills, connect with others, and make a positive impact in your community. Note there is no session on October 10. Extended volunteer sessions for special events will be: October 31 – 9:30am to 1:00pm December 12 – 9:30am to 1:00pm *Please note: participants who do not show up for the first two sessions without providing notice will be automatically removed from the program to make space for others*
