This beginner-friendly workshop gives Youth the chance to explore the timeless craft of bookbinding in a welcoming, hands-on environment. Over the course of the workshop, you will be introduced to the basic tools and techniques needed to create their very own accordion journal complete with built-in pockets, perfect for storing notes, drawings, photos, or mementos.Through step-by-step instruction, participants will learn how to prepare and bind their pages, picking up real bookbinding skills while making something that's completely their own. You will leave with a beautifully crafted journal of their own making, ready to fill with writing, sketches, scrapbooking, or to wrap up and give as a gift.Ideal for Youth looking to try something new and experience the joy of making something with their hands.
