Garden Season Extension 101: Hoop Houses, Mulch, and Thriving Soil Join Master Gardener, Pablo Vimos, in exploring the possibilities of extending the growing season. In this hands-on workshop, Pablo will demonstrate how to build a DIY hoop house and everyone will work together to gather tree leaves and mulch the open garden beds. We will explore the effect that mulch has on soil life and how to put the garden to bed for the winter.
