Elevate your ceramic forms through the art of handle making. In this focused 2 session workshop, students will explore a variety of handle styles, production methods, and attachment techniques through in-depth discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. The goal is to help each participant develop handles that complement their personal aesthetic and fit their preferred making process. This workshop is intended for students who have completed at least one ceramics course. Participants are encouraged to prepare a leather-hard cylinder for the second class for applying and testing handles, though practice forms will also be provided. By the end of the workshop, students will have a stronger understanding of handle design and the confidence to incorporate successful attachment strategies into their own ceramic work.
