About this program

This Halloween, let your child’s creativity shine — literally! In this hands-on workshop, kids will assemble their very own light-up jack-o’-lantern using blocks and simple electronics. Kids will also get the chance to drive robots from our Battle Bots Courses! Throughout the workshop, participants will: Assemble a jack-o’-lantern and see firsthand what their imagination can create! Wire up simple circuits to make their pumpkin glow Get a fun, accessible first taste of the engineering and design skills used in our full STEM programs Get a chance to drive a robot! Take home a completely unique, light-up jack-o’-lantern they built themselves No previous experience required. Join us for the ultimate kid-friendly Halloween activity in Langley!
