About this program

This Halloween, let your child's creativity shine — literally! In this hands-on workshop, kids will assemble their very own light-up jack-o'-lantern using blocks and simple electronics. Kids will also get the chance to drive robots from our Battle Bots Courses! By the end of the session, every participant walks away with their own one-of-a-kind glowing jack-o'-lantern. Throughout the workshop, participants will: • Assemble a jack-o'-lantern and see firsthand what their imagination can create! • Wire up simple circuits to make their pumpkin glow • Get a fun, accessible first taste of the engineering and design skills used in our full STEM programs • Get a chance to drive a robot! • Take home a completely unique, light-up jack-o'-lantern they built themselves No previous experience required. Refund Policy: One week’s notice for full refund must be provided. If less than one week’s notice is given, 50% of the fee will be refunded. If notice is given on or after the start date of the program, no refund will be provided.
