This class is a prerequisite to the Gliders skating program for the true beginner: those who have never been on the ice and those who do not know how to skate. If you have basic skating experience please attend an evaluation session. In this level, children receive a facility tour, learn about safety on ice, how to fall down and stand up, and walk on ice without assistance, along with other building blocks to progress to the next level. A CSA approved hockey or snow sports helmet is mandatory for all skate lesson programs. If you require skate rentals, please purchase a skate rental pass on or before the first day of lessons. Please do not register your child for more than one lesson set at a time.
