About this program

Participants will be introduced to acrylic painting and traditional ways of rendering forms including the use of washes, underpaintings, and value exploration while painting items from life. Participants can expect to dive into colour theory, mixing paints, controlling brushstrokes, rendering forms and fixing “mistakes”. Each class will involve a blend of education, instruction, demonstration, and time to practice. This class is best for those with little to no experience. Participants are encouraged to bring a spock/apron. All other materials will be provided but you may bring your own. No drop-ins.
