"When I am writing, I am trying to find out who I am, who we are, what we are capable of, how we feel, how we lose and stand up," said Maya Angelou. In this spirit, we will work together to help you express yourself, gain confidence as a writer, and position yourself in a community of writers. We will read examples for inspiration, use warm-up activities, and practice writing stories, plays, poems, and letters.
