Step into a world of imagination and adventure as we travel through time to discover the origins of writing! Over five fun-filled days, kids will explore how humans first told stories, from the mysterious hieroglyphs of Ancient Egypt to the clever cuneiform of Mesopotamia, the beautiful calligraphy of China, and the alphabets of Greece and Rome. Through drawing, sculpting, and creating, each child will design their own symbols, secret codes, and mini-books, bringing the history of writing to life in their own unique way. All materials are provided – just bring your curiosity, energy, and a nut-free snack and lunch. By the end of the week, every child will take home a collection of imaginative creations and a deeper appreciation for the amazing story of written language!
