About this program
The Community Table at Gleneagles is a free, welcoming midday gathering for older adults to enjoy good food, meaningful conversation, and opportunities to learn together. Each session offers a relaxed small-group setting where participants can share a light meal, connect with neighbours, and take part in engaging discussions or activities. Topics may include local resources, health and wellbeing, practical information, recreation, arts, and community stories. Whether you are looking to meet new people, stay connected, learn something new, or simply enjoy a friendly lunch in good company, The Community Table is a place to feel welcome. No cost to attend. Registration is required, as space is limited. Topic for November : Care for the Caregiver. Caregiving can be deeply rewarding, yet its emotional, physical and practical demands may put both caregivers and loved ones at risk. Carlie explores warning signs, health impacts and practical strategies for reducing stress, finding support and creating safer care.
