Langara RMT Student Massage Clinic

About this program

Receive affordable, quality massage therapy through the Langara Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) Student clinics. Appointments are booked for 1 hour and a portion of which will be dedicated to a health history interview, assessment of the area to be treated, hands on treatment, as well as reassessment and home care suggestions such as stretching or exercises. RMT Students cannot provide treatment to those with a personal injury claim or pending litigation related to an injury. Services are not eligible for extended health care plans or taxable benefits. Student clinics are open to members of the public and offer participants assessments and treatment from a supervised student a learning setting. Abuse of any kind, including sexualizing the treatment and verbal or physical threats will not be tolerated and will result in immediate discharge from the student clinic. If translation assistance is required, please arrange for a family member or friend to accompany you to the appointment, as translation services cannot be provided by Langara RMT students or Sunset Community Centre.
