Open to adults, 12+. Whether you're learning for travel, work, or personal interest, are you ready to learn how to introduce yourself, ask simple questions and understand answers in Japanese? Our Beginner Japanese classes are designed for complete beginners with little to no prior experience. Begin your Japanese journey with a lively, practical introductory course covering hiragana, katakana, basic grammar, and essential phrases for greetings, travel, dining, shopping, and everyday conversation. Classes combine short, interactive speaking and listening drills with simple reading and writing practice, plus handouts and short assignments. By the end, you’ll be able to read and write kana and basic kanji, navigate everyday situations, and carry short confident conversations.
