About this program

This program offers the basic knowledge and principles for volunteers interested in assisting with community recreation in Delta. Learn what it takes to be a leader, how to problem- solve and communicate in a fun and safe environment. The completion of this program is a requirement for youth ages 13 - 15 who wish to sign up for Volunteer Opportunities within Delta Parks, Recreation & Culture. It is not mandatory for ages 16 - 18 year old volunteers although may be of benefit.
