About this program

This course trains candidates how to teach the Lifesaving Society's Swim for Life and Canadian Swim Patrol programs. Candidates will learn teaching and evaluation philosophy and the techniques to teach water rescue, first aid and related aquatic skills. Prerequisites: Bronze Cross, 15 years of age or older. Candidate fees and course manuals are not included in the course fee. If less than 5 days notice is given, registration fees, less a 20% cancellation fee, will be refunded.
