Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival by making your own snow skin mooncakes from scratch. In this hands-on no-bake workshop, participants learn to mix and shape the soft glutinous rice skin, portion the filling, and press with traditional wooden molds to create colourful, delicate mooncakes. There will be three flavours: milky custard, strawberry, and red bean. Each participant takes home a box of finished mooncakes plus a recipe card to recreate them at home. No baking or cooking experience required — this session is for children, youth, and families. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Led by Abraham Wong, a Hong Kong-born, Vancouver-based chef featured by CBC Vancouver for his Mid-Autumn mooncake teaching.
