About this program

For age adult, 16+ Bring your own daf drum to participate or other percussions liks Cajun, Djembe or Timpani. There is a limited number of daf drums available for those who do not have their own. The drums are also available for purchase from the instructor. Led by Master daf instructor, Mohammad Anoush, join the Persian drumming Circle (Daf) for recreational music and structured ensemble emphasizing on collaboration and rhythm as well as creating the sense of community in the circle. Daf (instrument) is an Iranian and Middle Eastern type of drum. This instrument is known for a rich, resident sound, and it is used in various musical styles, including classical folk and Soufi music.
