National Lifeguard - Pool Option

About this program

The National Lifeguard (NL) Pool certification is designed to develop the fundamental values, judgment, knowledge, skills and fitness required by lifeguards. The NL course emphasizes the lifeguarding skills, principles and practices, and the decision-making processes which will assist the lifeguard to provide effective safety supervision in swimming pool environments. Prerequisites: Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid. 100% attendance is mandatory to successfully complete the course. Candidate fees and course manuals are not included in the course fee. If less than 5 days notice is given, registration fees, less a 20% cancellation fee, will be refunded; registration fees are non-refundable onece the program has started.
