About this program

The National Lifeguard Waterpark certification is designed to develop the lifeguarding skills, principles and practices, and the decision-making processes which will assist the lifeguard to provide effective safety supervision in waterpark environments. It builds on the fundamental values, judgment, knowledge, skills and fitness developed in the NL Pool certification. Prerequisite: Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid. Candidate fees and course manuals are not included in the course fee. If less than 5 days notice is given, registration fees, less a 20% cancellation fee, will be refunded; registration fees are non-refundable once the program has started.
