In this spooky hands-on workshop, kids ages 7-12 will become architects of the strange and unusual as they design and build their very own haunted house. Campers will explore creative design ideas inspired by mysterious Halloween spaces, sketch and plan eerie rooms like vampire lairs, witch kitchens, ghost hideouts, secret passageways, and monster laboratories, build a detailed 3D haunted house model using cardboard, recycled materials, and craft supplies, and problem-solve like real designers: how can they make their haunted house spooky and structurally strong? By the end of the workshop, each camper will have a one-of-a-kind haunted house model and a spooky new appreciation for architecture and creative design.
