Pottery Studio Orientation

About this program

Pottery studio orientations are intended for anyone who is already eligible to attend studio drop-ins, i.e. those who have already completed a pottery program at False Creek Community Centre with instructor approval. The orientation is for those who may benefit from reminders or more information about safe studio guidelines and procedures. Orientations are only required for those who are looking to drop-in during open studio times but haven’t actively used the studio within the last two years. They will be approximately 90 minutes long, led by the Pottery Studio Technician and Manager, and cover a tour of the studio, proper use of all available tools and equipment, studio etiquette, rules and policies. Maximum 8 students per orientation. Please note: attending a studio orientation does not guarantee access to open studio drop-in sessions; participants must meet eligibility.
