Pre Teen Pottery - Introduction to Ceramics

About this program

In this beginner to intermediate class, we learn to approach clay with handbuilding techniques and thinking. Coiling, slab rolling, pinching and scratch-and-slip attaching all form the groundwork for how we express ourselves in clay. Experimenting with textures, patterns and design-planning we work through this 10 week course together learning the foundations of working in clay and expressing ideas in 3D.
