NOTE: Registration is required for this event, and as part of our safety protocol we screen for belonging within the Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Diverse (2STGD) community. Email queerinclusion@vancouver.ca to be screened and receive the program location details. Happy Pride! Join the Queer Inclusion team on Parade Day for our event for 2STGD+ kids and their families, at an indoor location located along the parade route. Inside, we’ll have fan making, poster making, button making, board games and more! When the parade arrives, we’ll go out to watch and celebrate together, with the indoor space still available as a low sensory retreat. This is a family event, please note that 2STGD kids cannot attend without their parent/guardian or other responsible adult, and this program is not for 2SLGBTQIA+ parents with cis kids. We have a separate event for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth 13-18, find details here. Please bring all snacks, beverages, and lunch needed for your family members. Registration for this event will open at 10:30AM on Friday July 10th, and close at 10:30AM on Thursday July 30th.
