Get into the winter spirit and attend a free skate with the family after enjoying the Parade of Lights, admission and rentals free; limited rentals based on demand. Registration: Pre-registration available 2 days in advance at 8am for residents and 10am for non-residents Register in person if spots available 7yrs and under must be accompanied on the ice by a person 16yrs+ Standbys will be accommodated as space permits, and supported by staff based on ice capacity of 150 maximum Equipment tips: Skate and helmet rentals available for free Bike helmets not made for ice and therefore not permitted 11yrs and under require hockey or snowboarding helmet Skates required to participate, ice cleats not permitted Personal skating aids not permitted City skating aids available for new skaters and requires a helmet Wheelchair and strollers permitted, free helmet supplied
