About this program

Participants This date is for folks of all ages, all orientations, and all gender identities. Allies to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community are more than welcome! Program Overview Join the Queer Inclusion team for an afternoon of queer elder storytelling, a Q&A session, letter writing, button-making, and light snacks. Have you ever wondered how it was to navigate queer life for our elders? Get a chance to meet with and hear the stories of queer seniors in your community. Hear about their youth, queer journey, highlights, and their path to living out and proud as their true selves. Members of the QUIRK-E collective will be joining us to share their stories with a Q&A following. Partake in creative button-making and letter writing to express your queer joy. Connect with other members or supporters of the community while enjoying light snacks and drinks. Plan Ahead Please do not bring anything scented. Supplies will be provided for any planned activities. Our space will have overhead lighting, tables, and folding chairs. Washrooms are binary with "gender diverse people welcome" signage and a single stall washroom is available.
