About this program

Enjoy swimming with your class at Robert Hope Pool! Help students build confidence by developing or strengthening swimming skills by booking one or more sessions. Robert Hope| $10 Administration fee + $2 Fee per participant Be active, enjoy the main pool and all it has to offer in this family friendly environment. School Swims: Three hour program fee includes use of lifejackets, cost of staff, pool space. Up to 80 swimmers (inclusive of students, teachers, parents, support staff). Booking information: Accounts required to book school swim programs and are created at portcoquitlam.ca/register. Bookings accepted a minimum of one week in advance. Payment by credit required to book. Cancellations can be made online (min 48 hours' notice required), by phone at 604.927.PLAY (7529) or email recreation@portcoquitlam.ca. Arrival Information: Enter at main reception at Robert Hope Pool Teachers report to Front Counter to check in. Students and teachers may utilize universal changeroom to get changed and ready to swim. Wait on pool deck for a lifeguard to give a safety talk prior to entering the pool. Safety Information: Any swimmer under 7 years of age must be within arms reach of an adult 16+ (1 Adult : 3 Children) Weaker swimmers recommended to wear lifejackets Clean bathing attire required for all individuals entering the pool Abide by all facility rules, outlined on signs and by lifeguards Be respectful to others, mindful of surroundings. Check-in process: Check in with Front Counter staff. Proceed to changeroom to get changed into clean bathing attire. Lifeguard greets students on pool deck and advises students on facility safety process.
