Shoreline Trail House Post Guided Walk

Inspired by In the Presence of Ancestors, the Shoreline Trail House Posts honour the original caretakers of the lands and waters. Join Tasha Faye Evans as she takes us on a walk around the Inlet with teachings and reflections on the project, each of the five House Posts and the Indigenous carvers whose creations remind us of our shared responsibility for protecting the Inlet. Participants will meet at Old Orchard Hall (Old Orchard Park) and walk to Rocky Point Park along a three-kilometre shoreline route. The walk is easy, with some uneven ground and stairs. Washrooms are available at both parks. Please dress appropriately for the weather, as the walk will proceed rain or shine.
