About this program

Skills children will work on: skate width of ice, 2 foot glides touching toes on a curve, snowplow stop, backwards skating, backwards one foot lift, turn from backwards to forwards, walking cross cuts on a line, intro to backwards sculling, intro to backwards stopping. Note: Skate and helmet rentals are available for an extra fee at Canlan Sports prior to each lesson. Helmets are required for all lesson participants (adults and children) as per NVRC Policy.
