Skate - Hockey Basics*

About this program

Learn basic hockey skills and strengthen existing skating skills in a fun introductory program for those who haven't joined a league. Weekly classes conclude with an informal, non-contact scrimmage. Prerequisite: Completion of Child Level 2 or by drop in assessment during public skates. Must be able to skate with balance demonstrating the ability to move forward independently the width of the arena with control. Customer assessed during program to ensure their skill level aligns with program delivery. Required equipment: Helmet made for ice sport with cage required, bike helmets not permitted Full gear NOT required Supplied equipment: Skates and helmet rental included in program fee Hockey stick and hockey gloves
