Skate Lessons: Intermediate 7-12y

About this program

The minimum skills required for Intermediate Level: Must be able to skate unassisted with moderate speed, turn around a cone, come to a complete stop, and skate backwards the width of the ice. If unable to do this please register for the Basic Level or a Private Lesson. A brief skill assessment will be done on the first day and then students will be organized into groups appropriate to their skill level to continue their learning. Rental Skates and helmets are available if needed and are included in lesson fee. All withdrawals need to be completed before the start of the second lesson. New registrations are accepted up to 24 hours before the 3rd lesson. Please Note: No Lessons on 30 September 2026 (Truth and Reconciliation Day) and 11 November 2026 (Remembrance Day)
