Students must be able to: Child 4 Forward skating using "V" pushes Glide on one foot for 2-3 metres (left & right) Forward single sculling (clockwise & counter clockwise) Backward double sculling Informal outside edges (left & right) Half snowplow stop (left & right) Full snowplow stop Side step/cross feet on a straight line Child 5 T-push and glide for 2-3 metres (left & right) Backward "C" pushes alternating feet Backward gliding on two feet for 1 metre Forward circle thrusts (clockwise & counter clockwise) Backward single sculling (clockwise & counter clockwise) Controlled inside edges (left & right) Side/hockey stop Backward snowplow stop (any style) Two foot turn on a straight line ***Skate rentals are available for no additional cost at Britannia Arena lessons only.***
