Students must be able to: Child 6 Fast skate and stop Forward two foot pumping (skiing) Forward crossovers (clockwise & counter clockwise) Backward two foot glide on a curve Backward circle thrusts (clockwise & counter clockwise) Backward gliding on two feet for 2-3 metres Backward informal inside edges (left & right) Backward half snowplow stop (left & right) Two foot turn on a curve Backward one foot glide on 1 metre (left & right) Child 7 Forward alternating crossovers (clockwise & counter clockwise) Backward glide on one foot for 2-3 metres (left & right) Controlled outside edges (left & right) Backward crossovers (clockwise & counter clockwise) Backward informal outside edges (left & right) Backward inside mohawks (clockwise & counter clockwise) Sharp turns Pivots ***Skate rentals are available for no additional cost at Britannia Arena lessons only.***
