About this program

In this level skaters will develop edge control and explore sport specific skills for hockey, ringette and figure skating. Core skills taught include: continuous forward inside and outside edges as well as backwards inside and outside edges. Additional sport skills may include: circle thrusts, cross-overs, parallel stops, c-steps and 3-turns. A CSA approved hockey or snow sports helmet is mandatory for all skate lesson programs. Helmets are available to borrow no charge. If you require skate rentals, please purchase a skate rental pass on or before the first day of lessons. Please do not register in more than one lesson set at a time.
