About this program

Power Skating Advanced is for skaters ages 6–13 who have strong skating skills and are ready to further develop their speed, power, agility and control. Skaters will work on advanced strides, edges, stops, turns, transitions and other skating skills used in hockey. Skaters must be able to complete the following skills before registering: ⁠ -Forward T-Pushes -Backward C-Pushes -Forward Two Foot Pumping -Forward Crossovers -Backward Circle Thrusts -Backward Inside Edges -Forward Inside/Outside Edges -Backward One Foot Glide -Forward/Backward Stopping -Two Foot Turns
