Learn how to transform your balcony, patio, raised garden bed or other small space garden into a flourishing climate resilient garden. Even the smallest of spaces can make a meaningful contribution to Burnaby's urban forest by supporting biodiversity, providing pollinator habitat, growing edible plants, and adding beauty and shade to your home. We will cover advantages for different types of pots and planters, irrigation strategies, soil selection and maintenance as well as the best suited plants, shrubs, and trees for small spaces.
