West Vancouver Community Centre, Live Music Series Free, Funded by Enhance WestVan - Come and enjoy the performance and activities for children. No need to register. Limited seating available, on the first come, first serve basis. Everyone is welcome. Friday, September 18th, 2026 3:30-5pm: Family-friendly arts and craft activities in the Lily Lee Studio ( Registration required ) 5-6:30pm: Performances in the Atrium. Celebrating Mid-Autumn Moon Festival The 2026 Mid-Autumn Moon Festival falls on September 25. This festival dates back 2000 years ago, celebrating the year's fullest moon, equinox, with unity, harvest and gratitude, often described as an Asian Thanksgiving, and celebrate connections and cultural sharing. This family-friendly event starts with activities like red lantern making, fan painting, mooncake tasting and photo booth in costumes, followed by traditional Chinese music (guzheng, erhu, dizi and others), Korean drumming, and Tibetan cultural dance performance. Performances include: -Chinese Heritage Music Instrument Group; -Yang Family Trio (Piano, violin, cello); -Vanta Korean Drummers, and -Tibetan Folk Dancers We thank Enhance West Van for funding this Live! Music Series to feature local artists and performers to bring communities together.
