About this program
This program is designed for children ages 7–10 who are interested in science and want to explore topics beyond the school curriculum in a fun, hands-on environment. Through interactive lessons and engaging activities, participants will learn about biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, and engineering while developing curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Each session will include a short lesson and an exciting challenge or experiment, such as egg drops, paper airplane design, boat-building challenges, and other STEM activities. The program encourages students to ask questions, think like scientists, and learn through exploration and teamwork. Sessions will be held every Sunday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and will be free of charge. Program is led by Eric Hamber Secondary School graduates that have completed courses including Chemistry 12, Physics 12, Biology 12, with experience in leading experiments through the school science club. Leaders: Fiona, Brandon, Cerise, Natalie, Naiming
