Summer Smash Tennis: Junior Fun + Aces Camp (7.5-10yrs)

About this program

Start learning tennis in a fun and supportive environment. Lessons provide young beginners with little or no experience an introduction to the game through high energy, game-based lessons that use the 1/2 stage of the progressive tennis model. An emphasis is placed on inspiring a love for the game while building a strong technical foundation. Students are expected to bring their own racquets to the lesson. Please note this activity is held at Robson Park tennis courts (13th Ave and St.George St.) No class Jul 1. Students Background Beginning or continuing to: Develop technique for groundstrokes Develop ability to rally consistently from the 1/2 court and 3/4 court settings Develop technique for serve Development Focus Develop a solid technical foundation for groundstrokes Develop timing and tracking skills Develop ability to play cooperative and competitive rally games Develop a love for tennis in a positive environment
