Summer Smash Tennis: Youth Fun + Aces Camp (11-16yrs)

About this program

Start learning tennis in a fun and supportive environment. Lessons provide young beginners with little or no experience an introduction to the game through high energy, game-based lessons that use the 1/2 stage of the progressive tennis model. An emphasis is placed inspiring a love for the game while building a strong technical foundation. Participants must bring their own Rackets. Due to the construction at Robson Park Tennis Court, the session are being held at Tupper Secondary School Tennis Courts ( 22nd East & George Street). No class Jul 1. Student Background Beginning or Continuing to: Develop or refine technique for groundstrokes Develop consistency rallying in the 3/4 court to full court settings Develop technique for serve Development Focus Continue to develop ground stroke technique Improve ability to rally with limited use of or no self-rallies Become familiar with shot-cycle Develop proper serve technique fundamentals Develop a love for tennis in a positive environment Student Groupings Students will be split into small groups based on age and skill
